Full-time Senior Tax Accountant at Charterhouse Partnership

Location: Dubai Description: Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant • AED 25,000 Plus Benefits • Ref: 921877 Charterhouse are working with one of our leading clients, to identify a Senior Tax Accountant. With a reporting line to the Group Financial Reporting and Compliance Manager this role will take ownership of group tax planning and accounting functions, in line with required compliance and tax standards across the regional markets. You will support all areas of tax filings and reporting activities whilst liaising with tax consultants to ensure adherence with tax audits. You will also take responsibility for all tax reporting undertakings and finalisations to meet any required deadlines with local and regional authorities across the jurisdictions covered from the Dubai headquarters. This role will also develop a research capability to ensure an efficient tax planning operation aligned to external audit practice and savings and will also link to being an internal point of contact for all audit requirements and deliverables. Our client is looking to recruit a qualified or part qualified chartered accountant who can demonstrate a strong understanding of regional tax accounting and planning across the MENA markets. This experience will have ideally been achieved within a Big Four practice within an advisory capacity across service related industries and companies. As the successful candidate you should have excellent and concise reporting skills and an accounting ability where strong accounts can be formulated and communicated accordingly. You should be a proactive self starter who can display a pragmatic and thorough approach to their operational and reporting based role whilst also working to tight deadlines with both accuracy and professionalism.
