Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is going to conduct the Joint CSIR-UGC Test for determining the eligibility of the Indian national candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET (National Eligibility Test)  and for appointment of  Lecturers (NET) on 22nd Dec , 2013 . Eligible & Interested candidates may apply Through Online mode of application from 30th July, 2013 to 22nd August, 2013. Eligibility Criteria for CSIR UGC NET 2013 :

Educational Qualification : 

1. General and OBC Candidates must possess BS-4 years program/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks.
2. SC/ST/physically and Visually Handicapped candidates should achieve  50% marks.
3. For Lectureship : PhD degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50% marks are eligible

Age Limit : 

1. For JRF (NET) : Candidate's maximum age should be 28 yrs as on 01-07-2013.
2. For Lectureship (NET) : No upper age limit is mentioned.


Application Fee : 

1. General Candidates are required to pay Rs. 400/-. 
2. OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/-.
3. SC/ST/PH/VH candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/-.
