Our client is a UAE based local bank who are traditionally focused on corporate banking with an established branch network, platform and retail banking products.
Their vision is to establish a sister business to complement their existing retail banking network. This is an internal ‘start up’ and will target upward mobile, tech savvy, educated and professional retail customers. As the GM you will utilise social media and other targeted marketing to engage with customers providing a tailored banking experience. You will be responsible for establishing new and innovative systems including internet, phone and smart phone apps, near field technology and social media. You will work closely with the product development team to repackage ideas from across the globe and tailor those to the local market.
To be considered for this once in a life time role you should have significant experience in a start up and GCC retail bank. Additionally you should have experience in the majority of the following; product development, mass market segmentation, marketing, branding, alternative channels as well as project management and strategy. It is preferred that you have previous experience working in an established market such as USA, Europe, Hong Kong or Singapore.
