Location: Dubai Description: Job Title: Laser Technology Manager • Competitive Salary • Ref: 921527 A worldwide leader of application solutions in maintenance, repair and wear protection with more than 100 years’ experience in welding, brazing and thermal spraying technologies are looking to recruit a Laser Technology Manager to join their Gulf operation. Reporting directly to the CEO, your core responsibilities will include directing laser application development for existing and new products as well as supporting presales of key account opportunities. You should be able to identify new market opportunities, technical entry requirements and strategies as well as develop new applications and procedures to target the oil and gas, steel and aerospace industries. You will also produce and coordinate technical multimedia marketing outputs. The successful candidate should hold an engineering Degree from an accredited institution, with between five to ten years industry related experience. You should be able to work independently in an international environment and have extensive knowledge of the oil and gas industry including downstream activities, drill pipes and drilling and downhole tools.
