As such, you will assure that the End User Computing solutions will technically deliver and meet the needs of the business and IS Operations Base salary : Competitive Location : Staines (TW18 3BY IS Solution Architect (Desktop) - The Role Develop high level solutions and designs for End User Computing aspects of projects and programmes Review new demand requests and Idea Preparation Documents and contribute to and validate business requirements, benefits and business cases Work with Enterprise Architects, Business Systems Managers and project managers to develop and shape change plan activities, contributing to the Project Concept documents Work with third parties to provide direction on project activity, acting as design authority for all solutions designed by third parties, ensuring compliance to the Target Architecture, roadm! aps, architecture principles and standards Work closely with t! he IS Operations EUC team providing guidance and direction on service issues, identifying where improvements can be made to reduce cost and complexity of service, and improve end user experience and productivity Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the main technology base. Keep abreast of developments from strategic partners to ensure that the architectures are kept in line with standards and only deviate for commercial benefit Maintain End User Computing Target Architectures, Principles and Standards. Promote best practice and a high-performance and innovative culture. IS Solution Architect (Desktop) - The Person Technical/Educational: An in depth knowledge of at least *four* of the following technologies - Active Directory, Exchange, Windows client OS, SCCM, Lync, SharePoint, Mobile Technologies, Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop, Microsoft app-v and Oracle Identity Manager.
