And as a seasonal Team Leader within our Admissions team, your main aim is to ! focus on ensuring that our Seasonal Hosts are highly motivated and delivering exceptional service to the 2 million guests who visit the Park each year.
About the role
You will supervise the day-to-day operations of our Admissions area within the Park, taking responsibility for a key area and leading a team of staff committed to giving our guests the most full-on, fun-filled experience first impression possible. You will support the Admissions team on a rota basis to be the departmental leader, ensuring waiting times are kept to a minimum and resolving any issues that may arise. You will be responsible for company property, keys, equipment and promoting Annual Passes and other ticket packages.
This role requires working full time 5 days out of 7, including working weekends and Bank Holidays to meet business needs. We are looking for someone that is available to work full time over our Summer period (28th June - 3rd August) and over our Fright Night! s period.
About you
As an ambassador for gre! at customer service and a strong team player you will have had a good deal of experience working in fast pased environments.
You may have worked in a leadership role in the past or perhaps this is your first opportunity to step up, however you will be known for always being up for a challenge, taking on more responsibility and supporting others. You’ll always be on top form displaying role model behaviours for the team in the Merlin way! Previous supervisory experience would be a definite advantage however not essential as we shall support you to build key leadership skills through shadowing and on the job training.
You will need a flexible, adaptable approach to your work, ‘can do’ positive attitude, act ‘Guest’ first and be a team player.
