We are looking for: A HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
Country: Jordan – based in Amman
Length of Contract: 2 months (renewable), starting September the 1st
Responsibilities: In the context of the opening of ACF’s mission in Jordan, you will be tasked with coordinating the set-up of the human resources framework and policies on the mission. More specifically, you will:
·         Define and implement the HR policy
·         Implement the salary policy
·         Evaluate and organize the work
·         Manage careers and staff mobility
·         Ensure internal communication and develop new partnerships
·         Participate to the recruitment and elaborate the training plans for new staffs
Qualification and previous experience:
You hold a post-graduate degree in administration and/or human resources management and have occupied a similar position on the field for an international NGO. A previous experience in the field of human resources management with ACF is preferable. An experience in the context of the set-up of a new mission/bureau for a humanitarian organization is a major asset, as well as humanitarian emergency deployments. Your recruitment and training skills are excellent.
You speak and write English fluently, Arabic speaking skills are an asset.
Status: Employee
- Long-term contract, provided by ACF according to the French legislation.
- All expenses paid on the field: travel out/return, collective or individual accommodation depending on position, meals and hygiene expenses
- Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 (13rd month included), depending on relevant experience
- Cost of living allowance : 317€ paid on the mission per month
- Per diem : 233€/month
- Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution
- 25 days of annual paid leaves
- 20 days of extra leaves per year (taken as recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission) + break allowances
- Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris
