Independence Day Celebrations:
Independence Day as Swatantra Dewas, How can we forget this day? As on this day we got freedom from Britishers. Independence Day is observed annually on the mid of August every year, that is on 15th August.
15th August 1947, was the day on which many freedom fighters sacrificed their life to save our motherland and released India from crimes. 15th August 1947 was the day on which every freedom fighter got the result for their Sacrifices and renunciation in the form of 'FREEDOM'.
The freedom fighters gave their body and soul, their sleep and laugh to the fight for freedom for many years and at least they got the prize for all their renunciation which was, "Aazadi".

Independence Day Celebrations in Schools:
· Independence Dayis celebrated every year with great enthusiasm.
· For this day, preparations were started from beginning of August Month.
· Everyone has a keen interest of participating.
· The day starts with a flag hoisting after that cultural events are to be held.
· The day ends with the speech of principles and teachers.
If I talk about Independence Day celebration in our India then Flag Hoisting is done by the prime minister of India at Red Fort. After Flag Hoisting ceremony, Parades and cultural events is to be held. The day ends with the National Anthemand speech of Prime Minister and President.
How Students Celebrate:
In India, Independence Day is celebrated with full of Joy and Zeal. People used to sing Patriotism song whole day and enjoy Patriotism movies at homes because National Holiday is announced by the Government of India on this day.
Students celebrate Independence Day with lots of enthusiasm. In schools many cultural events held which is organized by the students. A long lasting speech given by the Principal of School and National Anthem ends the Day.
