Our client, an IT managed services provider, is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to be responsible for designing, testing, implementing and maintaining Cloud based infrastructure solutions. As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect you will be expected to:
Define cloud solutions and support the Operations team to provide a highly resilient, auto-scaleable and manageable platform;
Architect and develop Storage, Backup and Disaster Recovery platforms;
Be the technical design authority, leading the assessment of requirements with a view to designing and implementing a well-defined managed services solution;
Take technical ownership for new service offerings, supporting the business in assessing and proposing solutions for bespoke client requirements and future strategic service requirements.
As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect you must have:
Excellent experience of Storage and Backup tech! nologies;
Excellent knowledge of Cloud infrastructure tech! nologies;
Excellent understanding of the IT Managed Services Industry and service-oriented architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS);
Experience of architecting a VMware based Cloud environment;
In-depth experience architecting and operating virtualized infrastructures;
Experience in implementing public and private Cloud solutions;
Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux.
This Cloud Infrastructure Architect role is commutable from: London, Hounslow, Staines. It can also be based in South Wales.
