Educational Requirements: A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Qualifications: Post Graduate degree qualification in the concerned specialty i.e., M.D in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation/Diploma in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation given by National Board of Examination/Two years diploma course in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation after MD(Medicine)/ MS (Surgery)/ MD (Paediatrics)/ MS (Orthopaedics) or any other equivalent qualification.

Experience Requirements: Three years’ Teaching experience in the concerned specialty (i.e., Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) as Lecturer/ Tutor/ Registrar /Demonstrator/ Sr. Resident after the requisite post graduate degree qualification.
