Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is going to conduct the Joint CSIR-UGC Test for determining the eligibility of the Indian national candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET (National Eligibility Test) and for appointment of Lecturers (NET) on 22nd Dec , 2013 . Eligible & Interested candidates may apply Through Online mode of application from 30th July, 2013 to 22nd August, 2013. Kindly read the given below article for complete details of CSIR UGC NET Dec 2013 .

Subjects Of The CSIR NET 2013 : The Test will be held in the subjects as given under -
1. Chemical Sciences
2. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
3. Life Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
5. Physical Sciences
6. Engineering Sciences

Eligibility Criteria for CSIR UGC NET 2013 :

Educational Qualification :
1. General and OBC Candidates must possess BS-4 years program/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks.
2. SC/ST/physically and Visually Handicapped candidates should achieve 50% marks.
3. For Lectureship : PhD degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50% marks are eligible

Age Limit :
1. For JRF (NET) : Candidate's maximum age should be 28 yrs as on 01-07-2013.
2. For Lectureship (NET) : No upper age limit is mentioned.

Application Fee :
1. General Candidates are required to pay Rs. 400/-.
2. OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/-.
3. SC/ST/PH/VH candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/-.

Date And Scheme of CSIR NET Test : The single paper MCQ based test will be held on Sunday, the 22nd December, 2013 as under -

How to apply : Eligible candidates are required to fill CSIR UGC Net 2013 online application from www.csirhrdg.res.in. Fill the form in accurate manner with all mandatory details. After online submission applicants must take the hard copy of their UGC NET form and send it along with all required documents in envelope which super scribed with the Subject Code, Centre Code & Medium Code to the given below address-

Council of Scientific & Industrial Research in association with University Grants Commission will very soon going to declare UGC NET Result 2013 or CSIR NET Result June 2013 for National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship in all the colleges authorised by UGC.
Examination of NET is must for all those candidates who are fantasizing to experience lectureship in all the colleges and institutes working under the affiliation of University Grant Commission and also for those who willing to do JRF as well. This examination is organized twice a year and this time about 8 lakh candidates have appeared for NET which was taken on 30th June 2013.
NET was organized on 30 June, 2013 at various pre arranged centers across the India. As this exam has great importance to make career in the field of Lectureship and JRF (Junior Research Fellow), lots of candidates had applied for the test and successfully given the exam also from all over the India.
As we all know exam was of total 350 marks and taken in three papers, passing mark for general candidate is 40% for first two papers and 50% for the last paper, for OBC candidate is 35% for first two papers and 45% for the last paper and for SC/ ST/ PWD candidate is 35% for first two papers and 40% for the last paper.
As the answer key of this exam was already declared, lots of candidates have already guessed their marks by comparing the answers. But now they want the perfect marks i.e. result so all are waiting for the result to declare. UGC will soon declare the NET 2013 result on the official site, so all candidates have to view their result from the official site, for that follow the below steps.

UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION conducted common written exam of NET for lectureship and JRF for scholarship. We will upload answer key for UGC NET exam 30 June 2013. According to new cutoff notification candidate’s emphasis on aggregate marks. Only those candidates will be included in merit those who will score minimum qualifying marks in three paper separately. The applicant will be necessary to get minimum passing marks in each paper separately, i.e., 40%, 40% & 50% for general category; 35%, 35% & 45% for OBC category and 35%, 35% and 40% for SC (Schedule cast )/ST (Schedule tribe )/PWD candidates in Paper 1, paper 2 and paper 3 correspondingly. A merit list will be arranged subject wise and category wise using the cumulative marks . Only Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from this merit list, will be declared UGC NET qualified for eligibility for lectureship only. A separate merit list for the award of JRF will be prepared from amongst the NET qualified candidates figuring in the merit list. In UGC NET June 2013 around 7.8 lakh candidates participated for 78 subjects. Total 77 centers were allocated for for UGC NET June 2013.
