The Chief Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in handling all areas relating to financial reporting, forecasting and diagnostic analysis. This position’s immediate responsibility will be to develop, document and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements as well as lead the ERP migration project. The Chief Accountant manages the Financial Accountants in addressing tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, diagnostic analysis, year-end audit preparation, tax reporting and the support of budget and forecast activities. The Chief Accountant will have contact with the senior management and the business owners which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal. As the successful candidate you should be CPA or CA qualified and have at least three years experience in a supervisory role in the financial reporting and general ledger area.
