Technical Design- Managed Services/ Hosting right

Infrastructure Architect / Client Design Consultant / Technical Design
Authority from an IT! Managed Services, Outsourcing or Hosting background
required with either a Microsoft (Windows 2008 / 2003, IIS, SQL, Clustering,
Cisco) or Virtualisation / Storage (VMware vSphere, vCloud Director, Netapp, HP
3Par) background.
The role is to architect customer solutions (either n-tier web application
infrastructure solutions or Cloud Computing storage and virtualisation) from
scratch for a leading IT Managed Service
Provider commutable from West London, SW London, Berkshire, Hampshire and Middlesex.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience plus 15% bonus +
benefits including private family medical and pension
You will be the Technical Design Authority responsible for the design of
business and technical solutions for targeted enterprise clients. This will
include proactively managing and maintaining the integrity of the client
solution on an on-going basis.
Background:
- Strong
background in the business design captu! ring process of Internet,
Enterprise, Cloud Computing, Storage! or outsource solutions from a
technology and services perspective
- Strong
commercial knowledge and knowledge of the IT industry: solution design,
large complex projects, services, complete end to end outsourcing,
consultancy and operational delivery
- Superior
ability to communicate effectively, especially during oral presentations
at board level
- An
understanding of financial and ICT related challenges faced by
organisations
- Basic
understanding and experience of an ITIL based delivery model
Working as
part of a dynamic team capable of designing solutions to satisfy a diverse
range of client needs, you will work closely with the client to ensure
solutions are achievable and satisfy client objectives. This will include
visiting client site and ensuring at all stages they fully understand the
business outcomes and that you are managing the client solution.
