Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) invites Applications in the prescribed format from eligible male/female candidates for filling up the following vacancies of Group-C Non-Gazetted (Combatised), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) in the pay scale of (Pay Band-I) Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/- per month.

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (as on 01.08.2013).

Educational Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a Recognized board/University or equivalent.

Selection/Recruitment Process: The selection process shall consist of Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test, Skill Test and Medical Examination. The final selection list will be prepared in order of merit, category wise, after completion of Review Medical Examination.

Application Fee: The candidates belonging to General and OBC Category will be required to pay Rs. 50/- as application fee in the form of Bank Draft/IPO. SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen and female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee. The Bank Draft/IPO can be prepared in favour of “Accounts Officer, FTR Hqrs. SSB Guwahati” payable at SBI Guwahati, Assam.
